Distribution Sales Manager

Jowat Corporation has an immediate opening for a Distribution Sales Manager – Woodworking Adhesive.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Distribution Sales Manager – Woodworking Adhesive. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the distribution sales process for our woodworking adhesive products, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distribution sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for growing sales through distribution channels.

Day-in-the-life and your responsibilities:

• Monitor sales levels of woodworking glue products to maintain and grow distribution adhesive sales.
• Manage and update promotional product literature used by our distribution sales customers.
• Develop promotional programs to boost brand recognition of existing products.
• Introduce and promote new products to expand our sales to existing distributors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution related to woodworking adhesive products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to forecast inventory needs and plan replenishment orders accordingly.
• Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively, striving to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity.
• Collaborate with our outside sales team members to provide local support to distribution customers within their geographic territory.
• Conduct periodic visits to key distribution partners to conduct sales meetings and product training.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in distribution management, preferably in the woodworking or industrial sector.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency in business software such as SAP, CRM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work extended hours as needed to meet business needs.
