Sales Specialist for Packaging Adhesive Sales

 

Every product you purchase arrives in some sort of package. One thing holds that packaging together – adhesive! Jowat Corporation manufactures the highest quality adhesive in the industry and is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Packaging Adhesive Sales Representative to join our team.

 

As a Jowat Packaging Adhesive Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of adhesive products to a variety of manufacturing or packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of products and businesses involved in the packaging industry.

 

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and pursue adhesive opportunities within the packaging industry. Adhesive sales can be to industrial users of packaging adhesive or to distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication and product presentations.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to showcase products and generate leads.

Product Knowledge and Training

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the features, benefits, and applications of our adhesive products. Full training will be provided.
  • Provide product demonstrations and training sessions to customers to showcase the effectiveness and proper usage of our products.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to continuously improve sales strategies and product offerings.

Customer Service and Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and technical support related to woodworking glue products.
  • Address customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the packaging industry preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in industrial sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites, trade shows, and other events as needed.
